YouTube typically counts one view per session after a user watches 30 seconds. Continuous loops may not register additional views beyond the first playthrough.

Click the loop toggle button again (Ctrl+L) to disable looping. If A/B markers are set, the button outline will revert, and playback returns to normal when the video ends.

Currently LoopTube focuses on single‑video looping. To repeat a playlist, load each video in sequence and use the loop controls—or stay tuned for future playlist‑loop support!

Some videos have embedding disabled by their owners or are age/region‑restricted. In that case:
  • Click the “Watch on YouTube” link in the player overlay to open it on YouTube’s site.
  • Reach out to the content owner to request embedding permission.
  • Try a different video that allows embedding.

Unfortunately, Google Slides only allows inserting videos directly from YouTube’s own domain, so you can’t embed the LoopTube player via the “By URL” option.

Alternatives:

  1. Use Slides’ native loop: Insert via Insert → Video → YouTube, select your video, then in Format options enable “Loop – On.”
  2. Link out to LoopTube: Add a button or link in your slide that opens https://looptube.net/?v=VIDEO_ID in a new tab for full A/B looping.
  3. Download & re‑upload: If you have permission, download the video, embed it as a file in Slides, and use Slides’ built‑in loop setting.

YouTube Shorts are designed for bite‑sized, snackable content and the official Shorts player automatically loops videos to keep viewers engaged. LoopTube treats Shorts just like any other YouTube video—paste the Shorts URL into the input field and use the A/B controls or full‑video loop to replay the clip outside of the native Shorts interface.

LoopTube can loop any duration indefinitely. Set A to the start of your clip and B to the end, then leave it running—your browser will keep the loop playing for 10 hours or more.

LoopTube currently focuses on single‑video looping. To loop a queue, open each video in LoopTube sequentially or use YouTube’s native “Loop playlist” feature for queued videos.

LoopTube does not support YouTube Music playlists directly. For playlist looping, use the YouTube Music app’s built‑in loop setting on the playlist screen.

Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch doesn’t provide a public web browser for loading external sites like LoopTube, so looping YouTube videos directly on the console isn’t supported.
  • If you have homebrew software installed and access to the hidden browser, you may be able to navigate to LoopTube—but this isn’t officially supported and carries risks.
  • For seamless looping on the go, consider using LoopTube on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop browser instead.

  • Slow it down with playback speeds as low as 0.25× to catch every note.
  • Repeat automatically so you can focus on technique instead of manual rewinding.
  • Bookmark your progress by sharing or bookmarking the URL with loop parameters.
